A gluten free diet changed my life for the better. While gluten free diets are not the best way to lose weight, they have made a big difference in my quality of life. I have a wheat allergy. Like many food allergies, my wheat allergy made my life difficult.
Changing to a gluten free diet reduced many uncomfortable symptoms. My wheat allergy affected me in ways that I didn’t realize. While not a serious food allergy, my wheat allergy is substantial enough to make me uncomfortable every day. It gave me severe stomach issues, migraines, hives, and other problems. While a gluten free diet is not designed for wheat allergies, it made it easier to me to choose safe foods.
A gluten free diet is not the solution if you want a safe wheat allergy alternative. But gluten free diet foods are worthy of picking up to read the labels to see if they will work for you. Wheat allergy safe products may be safe for those wishing to avoid gluten. But they are not always safe for everyone. Some people with food allergies can’t eat certain products. Their are several products on the market that are gluten free, but they do contain nuts, beans and peas (which are legumes) and other products to which you may be allergic. So make sure that these products work for you.
If you choose a gluten free diet, but do not have food allergies, then you may still benefit from this way of eating. Many people on gluten free diets have a gluten intolerance. This lifestyle greatly reduced symptoms that I suffered as well, including stomach issues, bloating, migraines, and anxiety. But this wheat free diet does not always cause weight loss. But when you are not suffering as much, you can engage in many more activities.
